The Yamaha MG12/4 mixer has 12 input channels: 4 mono mic/line inputs and 4 stereo line inputs, with 2 offering mono mic capability. There are 6 low-noise mic preamps with switchable phantom power. All mono channels have insert I/O patch points and a switchable high-pass filter. The mixer includes 4 buses for channel grouping and features smooth 3-band EQs on all inputs. Each channel has 2 auxiliary sends: one post-fader and one switchable for pre/post-fader, plus a stereo aux return. It also has illuminated ON, PFL, and phantom-power switches.
