DPL Production Lighting were contracted by ESC Events to provide the event lighting for the 2010 ‘Millies’ at London’s Imperial War Museum. The Millies is a televised awards show created by the Sun Newspaper to honor the British Armed Forces bravest hero’s. “We invited DPL back for the third year at The Millies, they looked after all internal and external feature lighting and power distribution as well as lighting for the main event. We were extremely happy with their service both leading up to the event and on the night, the results were outstanding”. John Wickens Managing Director – ESC Events There were 3 main areas requiring lighting, the reception marquee which was a 20m x 30m Clear span structure with clear roof and wall panels, the grounds and facade of the Imperial War Museum and the event itself which took place in the main IWM exhibit space. Equipment A combination of MAC301’s, MAC2000 wash and Robe 700’s spots were used across the 3 areas as well as Pixel Pars, 4K Xenon search lights and Citycolors and all the rigging.
