Touchwood Shopping Centre Solihull - December 2012
Several LanBoxes were programmed and incorporated in to the festive lighting scheme and were used to provide timed control of the intelligent lighting throughout the centre. The DPLX designed scheme created 'dense pillars of light' via a combination of compact discharge profiles and moving lights. The scheme also incorporated an LED colour changing wash at the entrance to the centre.
"The installation has transformed the shopping centre," comments centre manager Paul Birkett. "The guest experience has been transformed by the innovative use of lighting and by using LED-based technology we have been able to stay true to our sustainability aspirations too."
